The Division of Finance has a central responsibility and authority for financial management and resource maximization, Finance helps to ensure that programs and administrative operations have the information, analysis and funding to deliver critical services effectively and meet DOHMHs objectives. If the position is left vacant the Agency could ultimately be non-compliant with Federal and State regulations and be unable to deliver critical services to the community. --Assist in maintaining Division’s Personal Services/Other Than Personal Services budgets. --Assist in updating of internal budgeting systems, monitoring spending. --Review budgets and budget modifications submitted by programs, making recommendations to the program representative for changes and corrections of errors. --Review statistical budgetary data submitted by contract agencies; prepare fiscal summary reports and analyses. --Research the programmatic implications of proposed policies. --Identify the impact of contracts. --Assist in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures. --Monitor the operation of funded programs to ensure contract compliance. --Review and manage contract actions request within the Contrak Management System for the Division of Environmental Health. --Analyze all contract documents submitted for review.
