Under the supervision of the Director of the Division of Neighborhood Preservation Borough office, the selected candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: •Providing technical guidance to property owners in correcting violations according to the Housing Maintenance Code •Developing repair plans for owners to correct violations or prevent hazardous conditions in their properties •Reviewing and conducting technical inspections on building systems and conditions; •Troubleshooting specific building problems, e.g. boilers, masonry, roof, structural defects, etc •Supervising and conducting Voluntary Repair Agreement (VRA) compliance inspections •Recommending extensions to VRAs when appropriate; •Reviewing and completing building surveys; •Providing written reports on building related problems and emergency conditions when identified •Coordinating special technical assignments and projects as needed; •Escalating emergency conditions found in the field to appropriate parties.

Salary: $51,586.00 - $77,404.00
